ABOUT US
Hi! We're Lucía Aparicio and
Matilda Batlle, the creators of
Estudio Helena.
We met in 2021 while studying Animation Film at Da Vinci Multimedia School
in Buenos Aires, and have been creating together ever since. In 2024, we released
our first independent project,
Espinas,
an animated music video that screened at festivals across Latin America
and led us to new collaborators.
We also worked on the animated short film El Río,
with Lucía as Art Director and
Matilda as 3D Artist, exploring the disappearances
during Argentina's last military dictatorship.
Since then, we've continued working on short films, music videos, and independent
projects. Our latest work, Nena, is currently on its
festival run.
We're always open to new projects and collaborations.
